1 PETE Recycle Cert
The 1 PETE Recycle Cert attribute is given to products that bear the '1 PETE Recycle' logo.
Recycle - Limited Check Locally
This logo represents that recycling of the packaging of this product is limited, meaning 20%-60% of the U.S. can recycle this package type at curbside or municipal drop-off locations. This logo also alerts the consumer to check local recycling programs to see if this packaging is recycable.
Recycle - Trash Only
This logo is seen on products that have packaging material that is considered not yet recycable because less than 20% of the U.S. population has access to this recycling material or it includes a known contaminant to common recycling systems.
