The Quality Assurance International (QAI) certification signifies that the product meets organic standards. To be organic, the use of most synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, radiation, artificial preservatives, flavors and dyes, antibiotics and growth hormones is prohibited. Additionally, the product may not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs). QAI is a member of the NSF International family of companies.

Forest Stewardship Council
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. The FSC Principles and Criteria provide a foundation for all forest management standards globally, including the FSC US National Standard that guides forest management certifications in the US.

USDA Organic
The USDA Organic attribute includes any product that has a USDA Organic Certification and meets each of the following requirements: 1) The product is produced without excluded methods, (e.g., genetic engineering, ionizing radiation, or sewage sludge); 2) The product is produced without any excluded substances (National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances); 3) The production of the product is overseen by a USDA National Organic Program-authorized certifying agent, following all USDA organic regulations.
