YOU WILL NEED:
Sugar Cookie:
6 tablespoons melted butter
1 large egg
Chocolate Cookie:
8 tablespoons melted butter
1 large egg
DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH
1. Prep
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. SPRAY 8x8-inch pan with PAM®. STIR TOGETHER sugar cookie mix, 6 tablespoons melted butter and 1 egg in large bowl until blended. STIR TOGETHER chocolate cookie mix, 8 tablespoons melted butter and 1 egg in a second large bowl until blended.
2. Layer
PRESS sugar cookie dough into bottom of pan.
PRESS chocolate cookie dough evenly on top of sugar cookie dough.
3. Bake
BAKE on rack in center of oven 28 to 32 minutes*, until toothpick inserted 1-inch from edge of pan comes out clean. *Add 3 to 5 minutes for glass pan
COOL completely on wire rack.
4. Decorate
FROST cooled cookie bars with cookie dough frosting.
CUT cookie bars into squares and enjoy!
HIGH ALTITUDE (OVER 3,500 FT): Preheat oven to 350 F. Prep and layer according to directions. Bake 30 to 32 min, until toothpick inserted 1-inch from edge of pan comes out clean. Cool completely and frost with cookie dough frosting.
