PREHEAT OVEN TO 450°F.
IN A 1 1/2 QUART BAKING DISH, COMBINE 2 CUPS BOILING WATER*, 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER, 2/3 CUP 2% MILK, CREAM SAUCE, AND POTATOES WITH WHISK.
BAKE UNCOVERED ABOUT 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOP IS LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN AND POTATOES ARE TENDER. REMOVE FROM OVEN (SAUCE WILL THICKEN AS IT STANDS).
*USE BOILING WATER FOR BEST POTATO TEXTURE AND SAUCE APPEARANCE.
