YOU WILL NEED:
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water
DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH.
HIGH ALTITUDE (OVER 3,500 FT): Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease baking sheet. Stir together cookie mix, 4 tablespoons melted butter and 1 egg until well blended. Shape, bake, frost and decorate according to the steps to the right.
1. Prep
PREHEAT oven to 375°F.
GREASE large baking sheet with PAM.
STIR TOGETHER chocolate chip cookie mix, melted butter, egg and water in a medium bowl until well blended.
2. Shape
DIVIDE dough into 12 even portions, about 2 tablespoons each, and roll each into a ball. PLACE on baking sheet leaving at least 1-inch between cookies.
*For mini sandwich cookies: Divide dough into 24 even portions, about 1 tablespoon each.
3. Bake
BAKE on rack in center of oven according to chart, until lightly browned.
Large Cookies (Makes 12) BAKE TIME 12-15 mins
Mini Cookies (Makes 24) BAKE TIME 11-13 mins
COOL on pan 2 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
4. Assemble
FROST flat side of half of the cookies with frosting.
TOP frosted cookie with another cookie to create sandwiches.
POUR sprinkles onto a plate.
ROLL sides of cookies in sprinkles. Enjoy!
