COOKING INSTRUCTIONS For food safety follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by a thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Keep Frozen until ready to use. Promptly refrigerate leftovers. MICROWAVE: Directions were developed for 1100 watt and highter microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave ovens below 1100 watt will require additional time to reach proper temperature. For best results, cook from frozen. Do not pierce, puncture or open the bag before cooking. Gently massage the package to separate and equally distribute the product before placing in microwave. Place unopened bag in microwave, with the directions and "pick up here" indicators facing up. Cook on HIGH for 4 1/2-5 minutes. During cooking, bag will expand slowly until tight. When a slight whistling sound from the steam may be heard, remove bag from microwave by handling at the corners and allow to stand for 1 minute. Carefully, cut open bag and pour vegetables from bag into serving dish; season to taste. STOVE TOP COOKING: In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine 8 oz of riced vegetables and 1/4 cup water. Bring to boil; reduce heat and cover. Simmer 6 to 7 minutes or until desired doneness, stirring occasionally. Drain; season to taste.
