Mushroom & Asparagus “Risotto" PREP TIME 5 minutes COOK TIME 10 minutes SERVINGS 3 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/4 cup chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Green Giant® Riced Veggies Cauliflower Risotto Medley 3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp. chopped parsley DIRECTIONS 1 Heat olive oil in nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook onion 2 minutes or until softened. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds or until fragrant. 2 Stir in Green Giant® Riced Veggies Cauliflower Risotto Medley and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until tender. Stir in heavy cream and cook 1 minute or until heated through. 3 Stir in Parmesan cheese, parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Storage Instructions
KEEP FROZEN
DIRECTIONS FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165°F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Refrigerate leftovers. MICROWAVE Place unopened bag, standing up, in center of microwave. Microwave on High 5 1/2 - 6 minutes* or until hot. Let stand 1 minute in microwave. Carefully remove bag. *Microwave directions developed with 1000-watt ovens. Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. For 700 watt microwave ovens, cook on High for 7 minutes. STOVE TOP Squeeze bag gently to separate veggies**. Pour contents of bag into large nonstick skillet. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until veggies are hot, stirring occasionally. **If veggies can't easily be separated, defrost in microwave or pour into skillet and cook, covered, over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until veggies break apart, stirring occasionally.
