Tomatillos are a small, green relative of tomatoes. They are also members of the nightshade family and have more tart and citrus flavor than standard red tomatoes. Because the the tomatillos are organic, they were grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms.
