Turkey powder is typically made with dehydrated turkey broth. A broth is a savory liquid made traditionally from water, bones, and/or meat of a specific species that have been simmered. Vegetables, herbs, and spices, may also be added. It can be used in dishes, as a base for soups, gravies, and sauces, or consumed as is. 'Broth' is often interchanged with 'stock'. Not all broth contains animal-derived ingredients; vegetable broth, for example.
