Sprouted Millet*
Sprouted grain bread is made from whole grains that have begun to sprout, or germinate. With proper moisture and warmth, whole grain seeds begin to sprout into a plant. Sprouts are rich in digestible energy, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, and phytochemicals, as these are necessary for a germinating plant to grow. These nutrients are also essential to human health. Millet is a group of small-seeded grasses high in protein and carbohydrates. Millet is grown world-wide as cereal crops or grains for food and alcoholic beverages, and is often ground to create flour known as Millet Flour.
