Organic Tapioca Flour
Tapioca flour, also known as tapioca starch, is a starchy white flour with a slightly sweet flavor. The flour is made from the starch that is extracted from the fully developed roots of the Cassava Plant. Tapioca flour is used as a binder and often improves texture. It is a gluten free flour and often replaces gluten-containing flours in gluten-free food and beverage products. Because it is organic, it was grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms.
