Clam Base
Clam base is a concentrated form of clam flavor typically made from pureed clams with lemon juice and salt. Clam base can be used in a range of dishes commonly as a base for clam chowder and other seafood soup recipes. Clam base is available in a jar from supermarkets. Clams are bivalve mollusks (shellfish) along with mussels, oysters and scallops.
