Parboiled white rice is white rice that has been partially boiled in the husk. Long-grain rice is long and thin (roughly four to five times as long as it is wide). White rice is rice grain that has been milled to remove the bran and most of the germ. The grains are then polished with wire brushes to further remove germ, oils, and enzymes to make the rice more stable and last longer.
