BLUEBERRY FLAVORED OVEN ROASTED ALMONDS

Blueberries are small berry ranging in color from blue to maroon to purple-black as well as in flavor, from sweet to tangy. Blueberries are very rich in nutrients vitamin A, E, anthocyanins and polyphenols, which have antioxidant qualities. Antioxidants help prevent free-radical damage and may reduce the risk of developing heart disease, cancer and Alzheimer's disease. To get the juice, the blueberries are pressed removing the juice, and then a portion of the water content is removed through a heating process, resulting in Blueberry juice concentrate. Blueberry puree is thick emulsion of the berries.
