COOKING INSTRUCTIONS - FOR FOOD SAFETY, COOK THOROUGHLY TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 145°F AS MEASURED BY A FOOD THERMOMETER. SINCE APPLIANCES VARY, THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE GUIDELINES ONLY. ALL YOU NEED - 1 PACKAGE SIGNATURE SELECT BEEF STEW SEASONING MIX, 2 LBS. BEEF STEW MEAT, CUT INTO 1-INCH CUBES, 1/4 CUP FLOUR, 2 TBSP. VEGETABLE OIL, 3 CUPS WATER, 5 CUPS CUT-UP FRESH VEGETABLES, SUCH AS POTATOES, CARROTS, CELERY AND ONIONS. DIRECTIONS - 1. COAT BEEF WITH FLOUR. COOK IN HOT OIL IN LARGE SAUCEPAN OR DUTCH OVEN OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL BROWNED. 2. STIR IN SEASONING MIX AND WATER. BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT; COVER AND SIMMER 1 HOUR, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. 3. ADD VEGETABLES; COVER AND SIMMER 45 MINUTES LONGER OR UNTIL BEEF AND VEGETABLES ARE TENDER, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. MAKES 8 SERVINGS.
