Palm oil, which has a fatty acid content which is more stable at high heat than other vegetable oils, is the oil obtained from the fruit of a palm tree. Because it is organic, the palm fruit used to make the oil is from trees that were grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms.
