Butternut Squash Risotto

Cultured milk is the result of adding lactic acid bacteria cultures to liquid milk to allow for the milk to become more acidic. This changes the flavor profile of the milk, alters the texture, and extends the shelf-life. Pasteurized milk is milk that has been heat-treated in order to destroy bacteria and viruses. Skim milk has had the milk's fat content removed.  Organic milk is from animals that have been raised without genetically modified feed, or hormones.
