Wheat semolina has a hard and granular texture, golden in color and comes from durum wheat. Semolina flour is not typically used for baking, but can be used for specialty breads. Rather it is more commonly used to make noodles and pastas as well as couscous dishes. It is also a good source of protein, iron, and B vitamins. Because it is organic, the wheat was grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified ingredients.
