POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED PAN. BAKE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, APPROXIMATELY 30-35 MINUTES, OR UNTIL A TOOTHPICK INSERTED INTO THE CENTER COMES OUT WITH ONLY A FEW CRUMBS.
MEXICAN CORNBREAD - INGREDIENTS: 1 PACK CORNBREAD MIX, 2 EGGS, 1/2 LB. SAUSAGE (COOKED AND DRAINED), 1 CUP BUTTERMILK, 1/2 CUP OIL OR BUTTER, 8 OZ SHREDDED CHEESE, 1 CAN OF CORN, DRAINED, 4 OZ JALAPENOS, CHOPPED, 1 SMALL ONION, CHOPPED, COMBINE TOGETHER. POUR INTO A 10" CAST IRON SKILLET OR 9X9" SQUARE PAN AND BAKE 40-45 MINUTES.
