1. BRING 2 1/2 CUPS WATER AND 1/8 TSP. SALT TO A BOIL. 2. ADD 1 CUP RINSED PEARL BARLEY. 3. COOK FOR 45 MINUTES OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL GRAINS ARE TENDER BUT STILL CHEWY.
DIFFERENCE IN ALTITUDE, HARDNESS OF WATER AND PRODUCT MOISTURE MAY CHANGE THE SUGGESTED COOKING TIME.
