Red Rice
Red rice is a medium-grain rice that is partially milled (some of the bran is left intact). As a result, it cooks quicker than unmilled brown rice. It has a slightly nutty flavor, and can be somewhat sticky after cooking. Rice is usually cooked by adding it to boiling water and steaming.
