Riced Vegetable Pilaf With Sea Salt

Black pepper is made from the berries of Piper nigrum. As opposed to white pepper, the  fleshy outer layer of the berry is left on before the seed is dried and ground. It is used in foods as a spice. Because the black pepper is organic, it is grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified organisms.
