Green Onions
Green onions are also known as scallions or Spring onions. They grow in soil and lack a fully developed bulb. In addition to the bulb, the hollow and tubular leaves of green onions may be eaten raw or cooked. Green onions are part of the allium family and are closely related to garlic, shallots, leeks, and chives.
