1. PUT ENOUGH OIL IN BOTTOM OF HEAVY SAUCEPAN TO FILL TO A DEPTH OF 1/8 INCH. 2. HEAT ON MEDIUM HIGH. 3. AFTER ONE KERNEL DROPPED INTO THE HOT OIL POPS, ADD ENOUGH KERNELS TO COVER THE BOTTOM OF PAN WITH A SINGLE LAYER. 4. COVER AND SHAKE UNTIL COMPLETELY POPPED. 5. SALT AND BUTTER TO TASTE.
