Dolly's Favorite Peanut Butter Skillet Brownie Sundae

you will need:

PAM® Cooking Spray

1 pkg (16.7 oz each) Duncan Hines® Caramel Turtle Brownie Mix

1 egg

1/2 cup melted butter

3 tablespoons milk

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

1 pint vanilla ice cream

DO NOT EAT RAW BATTER.

1. prep

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch oven-safe skillet with PAM®  cooking spray.

2. mix

Set caramel pouch aside for serving. Stir together brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk in large bowl until well blended, about 50 strokes. Pour into pan and spread evenly.

3. stir

Dollop peanut butter on top of brownie batter in about 1-tablespoon scoops. Use a knife to swirl peanut butter and create a marble effect.

4. bake

Bake 40 to 45 minutes, until toothpick inserted 1-inch from edge of pan comes out clean. Cool about 20 minutes. Serve skillet brownie sundae warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

 *If you don't have an 8-inch skillet, prepare peanut butter brownies, and bake according to directions for 8 or 9-inch square pan. 

Easy Prep Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 large egg

1/2 cup melted butter

3 tablespoons milk

DO NOT EAT RAW BATTER.

DIRECTIONS:

1. PREP

PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

SPRAY bottom of pan with PAM ®

2. MIX

STIR brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk together in a large bowl until well blended, about 50 strokes. SPREAD into greased pan.

3. BAKE

BAKE on rack in center of oven following chart below.

8" x 8" pan 32-35 min

9" x 9" pan 24-27 min

*Add 3-5 minutes for glass pan. Brownie is done when toothpick inserted 1-inch from the edge of pan comes out clean.

COOL completely in pan on wire rack.

KNEAD caramel packet 15 times before opening to soften. Cut off one corner of packet.

DRIZZLE the caramel in lines across the pan. Cut and serve.

HIGH ALTITUDE: PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°F. STIR 1 EGG, 1/3 CUP + 1 TABLESPOON MELTED BUTTER, 4 TABLESPOONS MILK, AND 2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR INTO BROWNIE MIX. BAKE 8 X 8 INCH PAN 32 TO 37 MIN; 9 X 9 INCH PAN 24 TO 26 MIN.
