Baking Instructions

You Will Need:

2 large eggs

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup vegetable oil

DO NOT EAT RAW BATTER

1. PREP 

PREHEAT oven to 400°F.

SPRAY muffin pans with PAM® or line with paper baking cups.

2. MIX

STIR muffin mix, water, eggs and oil together in a large bowl until moistened (about 50 strokes). Batter will be slightly lumpy.

SPOON batter into muffin pans. Fill cups 2/3 full.

3. BAKE

BAKE in center of oven following bake times provided.

COOL 5 to 10 minutes. Gently loosen muffins before removing from pan.

6 Jumbo Muffins: 20 to 23 minutes

12 Medium Muffins: 16 to 19 minutes

36 Mini Muffins: 10 to 13 minutes

NO CHOLESTEROL RECIPE: Prepare and bake muffins following directions above except using 1/2 cup egg substitute, 1/2 cup oil and 3/4 cup water.

HIGH ALTITUDE (OVER 3,500 FT): stir 2 tablespoons flour into the mix. Mix as directed above.

Triple Chocolate Chunk Quick Bread

You will need:

1 pkg Duncan Hines® Simple Mornings™ Triple Chocolate Chunk Muffin Mix

3 Eggs

3/4 cup Water

1/2 cup Oil

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Baking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Spray 8x4-inch loaf pan with PAM®.

3. Stir muffin mix, eggs, water, and oil together in large bowl until moistened (about 50 strokes). Batter will be slightly lumpy.

4. Pour batter into loaf pan.

5. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over batter before baking (optional).

6. Bake in center of oven for 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

7. Cool 10 to 15 minutes. Loosen edges with knife and gently remove loaf from the pan. Cool completely.
