Organic Refried Beans

The chili pepper is the fruit of plants from the genus Capsicum, members of the nightshade family, Solanaceae. The spongy interior placenta (commonly called ribs) is where the fruit develops its characteristic heat-producing chemical, capsaicin. Some capsaicin coats the seeds and circulates to the fleshy shell, but to a lesser degree. Because the peppers are organic, they were grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or genetically modified ingredients.
